We are glad to help. And to encourage any activity that helps with the much needed landfill waste reduction projects.
"Saving the Planet"
For several decades many walks of life have began to voice concern about 'mother nature' and the indisputable destruction we - as human beings - have bestowed upon 'her'. Sadly, not only have 'we' hurt our planet, and ourselves, in a race of greed, power, and waste, 'we' have hurt our future.
The phrase "Think Global - Act Local" began to filter in. Those with a clear view of the planets' problems began campaigns concerning car pools, water pollution, oil drilling, the list goes on.
More modern we have weather and climate change. Many individuals and companies jumped in with both feet to -"Save the Planet"- many more began 'recycling' anything with a resale value.
This act was helpful in spirit but overkill in a newly developing industry. These high spirited actions slowly began giving recycling a bad name.
Reduce-and Reuse- fell short. But then...
Up-Cycyling began, and became the much needed approach to the general _landfill waste reductions projects_. Household to household, individuals began to rethink their personal responsibility to the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle campaign, and it works.
Slowly, but successfully, the hundreds of moms, dad's, and kids, began to be concientious in their uses of items at home. Creativity and art has helped to reproduce items of reuse and true resell value.
Otherwise- these items were left as litter and clutter along our trash routes and destined to pollute our lands. Upcycling has became a succesful new friend in the recycling world.
The recycling industry is struggling to keep up with costs of the mass of recyclable items. Plastics have become a main focus, and we need your help.
Start at home ...
Separate your water bottles from your "soda-pop" cola, and juice bottles.
Water bottles are 'clean' water and compact able. Other drink bottles are not.
Separate your lids from your other plastics. The colored tops and safety rings mute the colors of recyclable plastic and make them more difficult to sell.
Rinse and separate your milk jugs.
There is clear plastic, white plastic, multi, like shampoos and laundry soaps..
And of course the vibrant orange, blue, red, black, and green, of popular branding.
Or simply use reuseable cups...
Potato chip bags. Humor tickles me here to know that sewinh them inside of a piece of cloth makes a baby rattle, oragami silver baby shoes, and gift wrap for small gifts.
We are hopeful to add links to our future pages for artists who will collect your reusable items very soon.

. 'We' believe the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle method still works. It is necessary for everyone of us to make an effort.
Reducing our 'carbon footprint'
Self sustaining and 'off-the-grid' homes and communities have exactly the right idea. Solar and wind powered, even geothermal options are available. Roof Top and container gardens in cities and small spaces really do prove them selves to be worth the creativity and care.
